2026 – VRA Spain – 13th Xuntanza
Old legends tell that in the deepest corners of Galicia, where warm water springs from the earth and stones whisper ancient stories,
the paths aren’t chosen… they choose you.
The wolf roars to the wind to call its own with respect and loyalty.
It doesn’t matter which way the wind blows or from which corner of the map you come; when the pack rides together, all paths become one
On this Xuntanza, the roar of our engines will mingle with the echo of Galician mythology.
The Galician Cycling Federation invites you on a route that will cross the border of the everyday to delve into the magical heart of the province of Ourense. Our main destination will be Lobios, a land of witches, Roman mysteries, and a nature so wild it seems touched by the ancient gods.
Surrounded by the mysticism of the Baixa Limia-Serra do Xurés Natural Park, we’ll wind along roads that seem to have been crafted by magic itself. But we won’t travel alone; the “mouros and meigas” of the forest will watch over our path as we ride together in brotherhood.
Midway through our route, we’ll stop in Puxedo, a place where time seems to have stood still among centuries-old granaries and stone streets. There, in the shadow of its mythical chapel and protected by the devotion of the place, we’ll connect with the most ancient magic of our land through the alchemy of fire and wheat and participate in a traditional bread-making workshop. We’ll knead the clay, share the warmth of the oven, and give life to a sacred food in an environment where the divine and the earthly embrace. Prepare your mount, polish the chrome, and let the Celtic fire guide your route.

June 27
10:30h – Departure from Hotel Lobios Caldaria
11:15h – Arrival in Puxedo. Village visit.
On our route, we will stop in Puxedo, a charming spot surrounded by nature, history, and tradition. A perfect place to enjoy a great atmosphere with friends and discover the authenticity of one of the most special villages in the area.
Additionally, we will have a Traditional Bread Workshop. We’ll get our hands dirty!!
13:00h – Departure from Puxedo
13:30h – Buffet lunch at Hotel Lobios Caldaria Balneario
17:00h – Afternoon at the spa, included for all registered participants, socializing and conversation.
21:30h – Buffet dinner at Hotel Lobios Caldaria Balneario
23:00h – Evening socializing at Hotel Lobios Balneario
